The win was picked up by a few local news outlets, including the food blog of the Charlotte Observer. A few weeks after the dust appeared to settle I got an email from the Observer asking if I would be interested in being featured in a story just before Father’s Day.

Not only was it a great article, but it was also the first time that any of the recipes that I’ve created have ever been published anywhere other than on my blogs.
I’d like to thank Kathleen Purvis for reaching out to me and putting together such a great article.
