Any Major Dad Will Tell You: Bella Daddy

For the third of the four Dad-Blogs.com entries into my ‘Any Major Dad Will Tell You‘ series we have another stay at home dad – BellaDaddy. BellaDaddy and his partner, Papa, are the proud parents to their way too cute daughter Bella. Like me, BellaDaddy has felt that moment of hesitation when asked what he does for a living. We all have different stories as to how we became stay at home dads, but like he says in his post ‘So Proud‘ we have one of the best jobs in the world.

RMDM: How has being a father changed your life?

BellaDaddy: EVERYTHING has changed, now I am responsible for not only my own life, but the upbringing of another human. And I dont get to drop everything and run errands anymore…

RMDM: What characteristic do you possess that you hope your children inherit?

BellaDaddy: GOOFINESS! We both love to be silly, encourage smiles and all around goofiness.

RMDM: Are there any specific life lessons that are important for you as a father to pass on?

BellaDaddy: Utilizing Common Sense.

RMDM: What has been your proudest moment as a father so far?

BellaDaddy: All of it actually. But, I have to say, the birth. Such the miracle!

RMDM: Describe your perfect Father’s Day.

BellaDaddy: Teaching our little one to swim…both of us, in the pool…encouraging…and of course, all of us going out to eat lunch!
