    :)
We are also about to start that process – finding a bed.
Asked my son the other day if he would be ok with that, lol

I've played that game two dozen times – Ikea is great even just when you need a time waster! We schedule play dates there sometimes – grab “snack” of a 99 cent breakfast and let the kids run for an hour. I believe that heaven will have furniture from Ikea…

As the father of SIX angry pygmies, I can say that it doesn't really matter the size of THEIR beds… until the age of 10 they all show up in MY bed. GRRRRUMBLE!!!

we're still in the climbing out of our crib phase.

Ey, we just went through that process. While we went with the bigger bed, I love the fact that I can curl up next to my little girl to read her a book. Good luck figuring outwhat works best for the little man! – Jason

Nice looking beds there man. We got ours online and it is still thankfully sitting in the garage. It will be there as long as possible!

Is that a Babies R Us or something? Actually, I guess it looks more like an IKEA. Either way, my kids have a massive metal, not very kid looking, bunk bed.

We finally bit the bullet and got one off Amazon, going to try to transition at nap time. This should be interesting. Good luck to you with your transition!

I'm so searching Craigslist for one now that we know what we want. I'm hoping I can get one for next to nothing.

Ikea rocks when you want to waste time, or wear out a toddler :) And you can't beat their cafeteria.

Yeah, we figured we'd start the transition now at nap time before in hopes we can have him in one at bed time by the time #2 comes along. Yes, I'm cheap and don't want to buy another crib.

Fortunately, he has not climbed out of his yet, but I've be afraid of that for some time.

Unfortunately I don't have the room for a bigger bed right now. Both his crib and the toddler bed all have to go in the same smurf sized room he has right now.

HA! Unfortunately with #2 on the way I have to get my act in gear. Gonna need that crib for someone else in a few months!

We were at IKEA, which is Swedish for cheap I think. If we are having another boy I totally want bunk beds for them, but I have a feeling I'll get overruled until they are both a lot older.
