Midnight Feedings #2: Support the Mrs. Dude Boob Fund

As I was gathering some links for today’s post I came across a tweet that gave me some direction for today.  Today’s only link comes to you courtesy of Hugh Weber over at DudetoDad.com where he is organizing the “Mrs. Dude Boob Fund” to help fight breast cancer.  Hugh is looking to raise $30K of which half will go to support the research efforts of the Susan G. Komen fund and the other half will be the foundation of the Mrs. Dude Boob Fund to help families affected by breast cancer by providing resources to help defray costs of medical care among other things.

This effort is very important to me as I lost an aunt to breast cancer over two and a half years ago when my mother’s younger sister sucumbed to her eight year battle with this terrible disease.  Please watch Hugh’s video and, if you can, make a contribution.  I will be doing what I can to support this effort as part of my Mother’s Day plans for 2009.
