Today is Memorial Day and I, for one, am thankful for all of the brave men and women of our armed forces that put their lives on the line to enable us to enjoy the freedom that we sometimes take for granted.  No matter how you celebrate, please keep those that have served and those that have made the ultimate sacrifice in your thoughts.

My buddy Otter helps put things in perspective:

Memorial Day Is Not Just for BBQ @ Life of a New Dad

But, at the same time, I hope you do enjoy whatever way you choose to honor the service and sacrifice of our country men and women, here’s CC Chapman with some ideas:

Memorial Day Essentials @ Digital Dads

Only 26 days until Father’s Day – not that we’re counting :)  Don’t have any ideas yet for the dad in your life?  Well, Tyler’s got you covered with some help from the Twitterverse:

Father’s Day Gift Ideas from Twitter Dads @ Building Camelot

Thinking of getting something for the expectant mother in your life?  I highly don’t recommend this:

Finally, closing out on a serious note:

War of the Sexes @ Steely Dad

Can’t we all just get along :)
