A post of thanks

Today’s post is just a quick word of thanks to everyone that has either visited or commented on this blog.  A year ago today I hit the publish button for the first time and I had no idea what to expect.  Now, even 237 posts later, it is still existing to launch a post and discover what you all take away from it.

Over the past year I have met some amazing people both online and offline and truly appreciate the connections that this blog has enabled me to make.  The ways in which expressing myself on this blog and meeting such a great group of people have been some of the most rewarding experiences in my life apart from meeting my wife and the birth of our son

I am working diligently on finalizing the ebook that I’ve been yammering on about here over the past few months and, if you haven’t already checked it out, please take a look at the site I set up for it right here.  I hope to have it all done for my self-imposed deadline of November 30th.

If you were looking for something new today, there happens to be a post over there about how I reinforced the axiom that bacon makes everything better.

Thank you all again and I hope you’ll continue to enjoy the ride with me.

I am glad to be here. Congrats on a year.

I learned to cook a lot of things from Emeril. He says pork fat rules. Bacon is included.

I'm really glad to have found your blog! Congratulations on one year of blogging!

Now I'm heading over to find out why bacon makes everything better . . . even though I totally agree with that statement 100 percent!

Congrats again on your first year and I look forward to reading many more posts!

You're welcome, man! I just had my 200th post this week. We've made great progress. And you've got this book coming out! That's so cool. Congratulations on all your hard work :-)

Thank you, I'm glad you are as well. Pork fat does indeed rule. To celebrate one year I did pork three ways – a pork loin roast stuff with sausage and bacon. :)

Congratulations PJ! Happy Belated 1st blogoversary! I thought about it on the actual day, but it has seriously taken until now to catch up on my favorite blogs. I love this holiday season- but it definitely fills up my weekends. Go Peaches en Risotto! ! !
