Have you ever written a letter to someone with absolutely no intention of sending it, especially since sending said letter would be sure to start world war three?
I did just that the other night, and it felt good. I have a particular stressor in my life and the negative energy and anger that this stressor has been causing needed an escape valve before it impacted other aspects of my life.
This doesn’t mean the stress, or the stressor for that matter, will go away, but have you ever broken the seal on a pressure cooker that has been sitting on stove for hours? That is exactly how writing that letter made me feel. That brief moment of clarity to provide some perspective and clear the recesses of my mind is exactly what I needed.
We just got around to watching the season premiere of the show ‘Leverage’. Since we missed the first season we are playing catch up with the main theme of the show, but what was pretty clear to us is that Leverage is the new A-Team.
If you haven’t watched this show, there is a crazy blonde girl who is essentially Murdock and a brunette that reminds me of Face. Timothy Hutton is the ringleader a la Hannibal and all the show is really missing is B.A. Baracus and a sweet conversion van.
Also, I’m pretty sure I lost my funny bone, as I just can’t get into Michael & Michael on Comedy Central. I tried, I really did, but I changed the channel about half way through the first episode.
Charlotte’s finest recently announced that they cracked a burglary ring that was responsible for a number of break ins last July, the same time that our home was burglarized. They say this ring shipped their scores to New York where they were then exported to Columbia.
So, to the Columbian drug lord who is probably watching my old plasma TV, I hope they threw in some stolen speakers to go with the TV, as it was just a monitor.
