This past installment of Wordless Wednesday was a bit of a departure for me on two fronts. First, this is the first WW that I didn’t post a picture of my son. Second, it was the first time I created a photo essay using the Whrrl application on my iphone. If you clicked on the picture, and I realize putting the words “click me” under it are cheating, then you saw the full spread of my Make-up Mothers’ Day feast that I prepared for my wife. If you didn’t click on the picture, then you still saw the picture of the final course, a strawberry and pineapple shortcake.
Drawing people to my blog and then sending them to my Whrrl story made me feel a little like Andy Dufresne hoping that his friend Red will follow him to Zihautanejo, and if you made the trip I hope you liked what you saw. I realize that every picture is a story in an of itself, but I thought that a series of pictures in this particular case was a bit more compelling.
I explained the whole Make-up Mothers Day story here on Tuesday, so, please check that out if you are interested. And, if you haven’t checked out Whrrl yet, you should. It was a lot of fun and I plan on giving it a bigger test when my family and I are on our summer vacation here in a few weeks.
