How cute! Thanks for sharing.
My son has been a Star Wars character for years. My fave was the Darth Vader year.
Happy WW.

That's awesome! He'd fit in perfectly with all the kids in costume at Comic Con (not that I went, but I saw a ton of pics).

Ha! That light saber kills me! So, I read elsewhere that he wasn't such a big fan of the costume???

Hah! Cute kid! That's a great ready stance. It's like your little mini-me is trying to use his Jedi mind trick to get you to take a picture. Yesss! Successful. Ah, man he's good.

Nice! I debated going with Vader, but he won't even leave a hat on his head right now, so I figured a mask wasn't even in the realm of possibility.

He could probably use the jedi mind trick on them. I've already got plans to have my mom make an all black outfit for next year so I can tell people he left the Dagobah system to save Han :)

It's great isnt' it? It is actually a bubble wand we got for a buck while we were on vacation this summer. Probably the best dollar I've ever spent. It was unseasonably warm here and the base for the costume was a pair of pajama pants and a turtle neck onesie, so he was melting by the time the parade was over.

Actually, I think he wanted to hit me with the lightsaber so I'd get the camera out of his face. I took over 100 pictures the first two days I had my new camera. He's a bit sick of it.

That's a quality outfit you've got there. My sons went as jedi for two years in a row. We're a little bit freakish when it comes to our love of Star Wars (maybe even bordering on nerdy). We had a Hollywood costume designer to their outfits. This one looks great! I like the belt. I bet he was the envy of other wanna be Jedis :-)

It certainly is! Awwww . . . how cute! Did he enjoy wearing his costume?

BTW, I must really, really like your blog. I had it listed twice on my blogroll . . .

Thanks, my mom made it for us, she's really good with that stuff. Wow, that is no joke right there, a Hollywood costume designer. Bringing out the big guns for that. All the dads seemed to like it, one mom asked if he was Yoda. Ugh!

PJ Mullen November 5, 2009 at 8:02 am

Initially, yes, but it was really warm here on Halloween, so he got sick of it quick.

That's funny, I know my kid is cute and all, but… :)

Nope. Couldn't get any cuter.
