We were totally expecting him to pick one up, look at us and run off with it like he stole it. Were we ever wrong. Sounds like a fun trip, weather permitted we're going to take him to another farm that is slightly north of where we live to do some apple picking and check out their animals. I'll have to remember to bring my flip when we do go. It is always interesting to see what kids pick up on. We were totally expecting him to pick one up, look at us and run off with it like he stole it. Were we ever wrong. Sounds like a fun trip, weather permitted we're going to take him to another farm that is slightly north of where we live to do some apple picking and check out their animals. I'll have to remember to bring my flip when we do go.

Besides, I'm sure the contractors managing the projects have plenty of 'contigent' line items in their proposals. We just had our preschool pumpkin patch field trip today. We saw all kind of cool animals (including one-day old piglets). The next time we're in class together I'll ask them to name their favorite things about the excursion. I guarantee most of them will say something like, "the snack," or "seeing the horse poop."
