I've never really owned a cool car that I miss driving and I've always viewed my house as an investment. When we do finally sell it will probably hit me when I think of where my son took his first steps and things like that. And keep that attitude when it comes to home renovations. I'm glad I did it once just to say I did and to have the war stories, but it will take a lot to get me to do it again. I guess I just don't get attached to houses and cars. I've never really owned a cool car that I miss driving and I've always viewed my house as an investment. I had no designs on attempting that. I did want to do the framing myself, but in the spirit of keeping to deadlines it was more cost effective to pay someone else to do it.
