Yes, Kirkland is Costco. Basically, I'm addicted to the place. You're lucky you don't have one nearby otherwise you would spend all your money there. Definitely let me know about the homemade bacon. I read an article a while back in Men's Health of all places that explained how to make your own bacon. It didn't sound too difficult.

Hey, I had to try it. The original sounds much better, but I've got to be good. Fortunately, I don't have a Costco membership (Kirkland is Costco, right?) otherwise I would be tempted to try it. Actually, I've decided to try my hand at making my own bacon. I made an investment in an electric smoker a few years ago and haven't done much with it. I'm also planning to cold smoke some sausage when my supplies get here in a few days. That will be a fun post to write.

Who is this Steely Dad character anyhow? He sounds like some Julia Childs wannabe. Seriously, dude, I am truly flattered. And to be honest, your version sounds amazing! I love my yokes runny. Also, in Steely Wife's version, she likes to add green onion to her NONFAT abomination of cream cheese. But I have to tell you, if you haven't tried the Kirkland bacon…DON'T. You will eat it everyday all day long. It's sick! Thanks again, bro, this is awesome. I'm going to re-tweet it tomorrow!

I hate Nesquick but that sandwich looks absolutely awesome! Must give it a try. I have to agree, anytime anything calls for bacon it must be the real thing. Very nice indeed.
